Key Account Manager

An overseeing business role which involves extracting more business from top accounts, managing relationships in order to gain more business, and seeking ways of gaining market share in waning sectors. The SAM deals with decision makers in the upper levels of management in Client companies, as some of the accounts can be worth many thousands of Euro.
